I made a small series of cast glass and ceramic Babushkas for a “Duplication” project in my first year of university. The ceramic designs were inspired by traditional Russian scarves, which were commonly adorned with hundreds of patterned flowers. Each of the flower designs on the dolls are inspired by flowers native to Russia.
